Ben and his crew (Tom, Josiah and Simian) arrived punctually and transformed the overgrown landscape into a park-like setting which also provides a fire-resistant buffer adjacent to our home. We hired Backwoods Forestry Mulching to clear some space for a new shop, as well as to thin and mulch roughly 8 acres for forest health and fire safety. Ben and his team (Josiah) were professional, honest, reliable, and hard working, and turned our overgrown, face slapping, hair grabbing property into a usable and enjoyable forest we can romp around in with our pups. Ben cares about his customers (he is true to his quote and doesn't try to upsell) and definitely knows his trees... he even took the time to educate us about our land/tree varieties (much appreciated!!) and answered our endless questions. 100% recommend!!
